No go with the madness

So this is the first year in like 6 or 7 years that I did not go Black Friday shopping. Not even really dissapointed. Phil works at Tiffany's in the King of Prussia mall and since he worked yesterday he couldn't even park in the mall parking lot! He had to park across the street at some restaurant. I'm thinking we will still get great deals for Halie for Christmas, and I might even check out "Cyber Monday", although it's always more fun going to the actual stores! Hopefully no one died this year getting trampled over!

"My Husband Rocks" Friday!

This week my husband rocks because he made me feel better about the Pumpkin Roll I made. I know that kinda sounds weird, but for Thanksgiving this year one of the things I made was Pumpkin Roll. This was my first time making it and I was a little nervous...don't know why I get that way. Anyway it tasted great but it looked funny because when I rolled it, it cracked twice. I guess I am a perfectionist at everything I do and I don't always like that about me. Anyway he kept complimenting it and me and I guess it was I needed because I felt better. Why in the world do I let silly things like that get me upset? haha I knew no one would care what it looked like. My hubby is great :)

Thanksgiving!!

I'm so excited for Thanksgiving tomorrow! This year we are going my in laws! I'm baking Pumpkin Roll & Pumpkin Pie, sounds so good I can't wait for our place to smell like it! I really like Thanksgiving because we all can think about what we are truely thankful for. For instance God, freedom of religon, Family, Friends, naps etc.  It's also a great day to just eat a ton of turkey and food and watch the Macy's Day Parade! :) Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

This week my hubby rocks because he made me a really yummy healthy dinner last night! It was soooo good! He is seriously an amazing creative cook, that I wonder who's cooking Halie will like more once she can really talk! :)  It'll be battle of the cooks!!

"My Husband Rocks" Friday!

There are tons of reasons why my hubby rocks! Serisously! Last night Halie woke up 5 times, I don't know if it's because she is still getting over her Peanut allergy episode from two days ago, or if it's teething pains, maybe even growing pains??? The 5th time when I was out in the kitchen getting Halie's milk ready, he snuck into her room and started soothing and calming her down. It was a relief because I was starting to get really worn out! He hasn't done that since she was an infant, and it's ok that way because he works full time and needs to sleep. Anyway...he's amazing!!
